The place felt comfy and inviting. Our waitress came right up as soon as we sat down. She was friendly and attentive. We started with some of their signature cocktails. They were all really different and tasty. The Broken Arrow with the spicy salt rim was mu favorite. We then had the Spring vegetable frito mistook with green goddess dressing. The veggie were coated well and fried to perfection. The dressing was so good, we could eat it by itself. I had the shrimp and grits. I go to New Orleans frequently and this version was as good as I get there. The salmon and Cesar salad was fresh and they gave a huge portion. The ricotta raviolis were fresh made with little bites of grilled bread on the side. We ordered one of every dessert and they were all wonderful. We all tried each one and cleaned our plates. This place is a keeper for sure.

We had a very good family dinner here. The menu isn't extensive but it has good variety. We sat upstairs next to the bar - the decoration and lighting and overall feel was cool and comfortable. We split a Caesar salad and it was plenty for each of us. The salmon dish was amazing! Flavor combination and the presentation were perfect. Our server was so kind and accommodating, well trained! The "c" is for cookie desserts was delicious- we split between 3 and maybe it wasn't enough.

Buzzing place on a Saturday! Make sure to get a reservation. Great brunch menu. We started with the mushroom soup and cinnamon roll scones. I ordered the ravioli and it was wonderful. Amazing drink selection too, I enjoyed the pomegranate cider. Our server was kind and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great brunch spot for people of all ages. The lively atmosphere makes it a great place to start your day!

Yummy The boss had the ricotta filled ravioli and I had the pork chop and apples. The boss really enjoyed her raviolis and I really liked my pork chops. The chop was boneless but it was still juicy and cooked perfectly. The gastric and veggies were great with the chop and apples. And of course the boss wanted C is for cookie as dessert. Homemade chocolate chip cookie in a skillet served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Cookie monster would have loved it too. Dylan was our server and he was excellent. Great service, excellent demeanor and attentive. It was my wife's bday today and she really enjoyed our dinner. Glad we came here. You will too.

This place was on my radar for a bit. Atmosphere def romantic and relaxed. Service very good quick and attentive. Sat at the bar but food was brought up in timely matter and no complaints at the service. Everyone friendly and efficient. Food was great. Love bird fried chicken was great. Juicy tender and flavorful. Tuna crude no complains. It had radishes and some other small ingredients. I could do without but oversell delicious and fresh Grits not sure. Didn't try them. But looked good. Cesar salad great. Just too many croutons yet not a deal breaker. Collard greens - i loved very buttery though Hush puppies nicely cooked I would def return

I'll start out by saying the ambiance is impeccable, from the dim lighting to the decor, to the free little library in the elevator. Truly fantastic. The service was also very nice, our waitress was attentive. We went on Valentine's day so the place was packed but we had made a reservation a month prior. We shared a burrata salad to start and it was very good, then for entrees I ordered a rigatoni with short ribs and my husband got the salmon. My dish was entirely fantastic with very unique flavors, it really felt like the chef worked on individual flavors on the plate which was nice. My husband's salmon was also very well cooked and tasted phenomenal, although the sticky rice on the plate was not very pleasing to him. For desserts, my husband got a creme brulee and he liked it a lot, and I got the C is for cookie dessert which was very good but overbearingly sweet. The ice cream accompanying the cookie was cookie dough flavor and I think a classic vanilla would've made the dish less sweet and more appetizing to my personal taste. Overall we had a fantastic and romantic experience! Nothing like celebrating valentine's day at a place called "The Love." Definitely recommend for a date night. The 4 stars on this review is only because of the little things we didn't enjoy as much, such as our table - we made a reservation a month in advance and were seated in a table in a very tight corner with no lighting which made the ambiance even darker and just felt off. I feel like the table was placed there as an extra to accommodate valentine's day which I understand but we didn't enjoy seating there that much. But again, overall it was great.

Came here for dinner tonight and was NOT hungry but came for the company. What a delight! The group ordered some apps - I tried a tiny bit of everything, the crudo, the Parker house rolls, and the broccoli. All fantastic. On my way to the table I saw someone eating a delicious looking soup, which ended up being the mushroom soup, and that's what I ordered for dinner. Hands down one of the best soups I've ever had and for sure the best mushroom soup. So much so that I realized I was actually just tired, and did need to eat something good and it hit the spot! Other notable item was the fig cocktail I had prior to dinner (don't remember the exact name but it was awesome). We will be back in Philly in March and have already decided we will be back!

Lovely dinner at The Love this evening. I was trying to decide between salmon and branzino and the server had a lot of nice things to say about the salmon so I went that direction. She was right that the rice is really well done and the fish was cooked nicely. The cornbread was amazing though! And I really liked the Brussels and cauliflower - a little different.

Vibes: cozy, homey; bring a date or a few friends Tasting notes - Mushroom soup: absolutely delightfully creamy and flavorful with a lovely crunch from the croutons - Meyer lemon risotto: extremely fragrant from citrus, otherwise each spoonful was Parmesan-forward - Pumpkin Ravioli: perfectly al-dente pasta with generous filling of sweet, light ricotta; loved the additional flavor and texture of the nuts sprinkled throughout - Branzino: very crispy skin; couscous had a nice sautéed taste Other thoughts: - Very attentive and friendly service. Appreciated extra thoughtfulness with splitting bowl of soup and shared plates. Fresh plates and silverware were exchanged with each course. - Above meal was very filling Impression: when I'm craving a well-executed comfort meal, this is where I'll be! Will be dreaming about the mushroom soup for some time.
